Chao LING (Ph.D., Yale 2019) primarily researches medieval Chinese poetry and poetics. He is also interested in the philosophical investigations of the relationship between poetry and Chinese literati visual art. In his spare time, he enjoys practicing traditional Chinese calligraphy, landscape painting, and seal engraving.
Before joining CUHK, he taught at Bates College, Colgate University and City University of Hong Kong.
